Management and Officials

As a member of Penobscot County Federal Credit Union, you have a voice in the operation of your credit union. Our Board of Directors, who oversee the overall operation and direction of the credit union, are elected by you the member. The Board hires the President/CEO, who is responsible for the daily operation and management of the credit union.

Board of Directors 

John S., Chairman

John works as a Database Administrator Lead, at the University of Maine System. He has many years experience in the technology industry, and has spent time coaching, refereeing soccer, and as a den leader of a boy scout group. He has served on the PCFCU Board of Directors for over 5 years, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board. He resides in Old Town, with his wife Renee.

Richard K., Treasurer

Richard has been on the Board of Directors since 2010, he currently serves as the Boards Treasurer. Richie worked as an accountant at John T. Cyr and Sons for 23 years, retiring in June of 2008. He’s a former member of the credit union’s Credit Committee and lives in Old Town with his wife, Vicky.

Bill B., Secretary

Bill has been on the Board of Directors for over 2 years, currently serving as the Secretary. He was the Regional Vice President, upon retiring, from his 25 year career. He has volunteer experience, having served on a Sounding Board and also the team coach for CYO basketball for a number of years. It is Bills hopes that he can become more involved in the community in which he was raised, Old Town.

John B.

John has notable experience, having served both as a Chairman of a credit union and also having volunteered as a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts. He also served as Chairman on the Enfield Planning Board, in the past.  John is a Senior Electrical Engineer for Mid-South Engineering and he lives in Enfield.

Ellen S.

Ellen has notable experience, having previously served as the Vice Chairman for Howland-Enfield Federal Credit Union. She has served on the PCFCU board since March 2016. She also serves on the Enfield Planning Board and has volunteered for the Girl Scouts as a leader. Ellen is employed by SAD #31 as a library media specialist and she resides in Enfield.

John B.

John previously served on the PCFCU Supervisory Committee and is well-known throughout the community.  He has over 35 years of business and budget management experience, as well as prior Board experience. He is currently employed as a Realtor through ERA Dawson and resides in Old Town with his wife, Pagan.
