Steve Baillargeon, President/CEO, has been with Penobscot County Federal Credit Union for over 15 years. Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Husson University in 1987. He obtained a strong background in business, finance and credit unions before joining the PCFCU family in 2001. In the years since he has been at the Credit Union, the institution has grown from $17 million and 7 employees; to over $67 million and a staff of over 25. In addition, he has opened multiple branches and has expanded the field of membership, through a successful merger.
Steve serves on several non-profit committees within the community and is an active volunteer for Special Olympics. In his spare time he enjoys spending time in the mountains, vacationing in Florida, and being with his family. He resides in Old Town with his wife, Stephanie, and their 3 dogs. They also have two children: Molly and Lucas.
Missi Weatherbee has been with Penobscot County FCU for 18 years, currently as the Vice President of Member Service. During her years at the Credit Union, whether as a Teller, Operations Manager, or Vice President of Member Services, her commitment will always be helping the members and building lifelong relationships with them.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, peaceful walks in the woods and vacationing anywhere the sun shines! Missi is also a Licensed Cosmetologist. She currently resides in Lincoln with her husband Rick. They enjoy the summers at their family camp, on the lake, and the fall at their hunting cabin in the woods. Together they have 3 children; ages 17, 18 and 19.
She is actively involved in fundraising events and raising awareness to support ALS research and development.
Dana Sibley was hired as the Dealer Relations Manager and joined the PCFCU team in 2014. She quickly used her knowledge from the automotive industry and finance background, from her previous employment, to move into the VP of Lending Position. In this role she manages the Loan, Commercial Loan and Collections Departments.
She attended and graduated from Old Town High School. Dana previously worked for the Quirk Family of Dealerships in Bangor, beginning in the Business Development Center, eventually moving to Finance Manager and then Sales Manager. The 14 years she spent with Quirk provided her with extensive knowledge of Lending and Management. These skills are essential to the role she now plays at PCFCU.
Dana resides in Bradley. Most of her summers are spent on the softball field with her daughter. Her hobbies are camping, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time with her family.
Bernice Stroba started working at Penobscot County Federal Credit Union, in 2015, as the Vice President of Accounting. She has been in finance for over 20 years and has her Bachelors Degree in Accounting, with a minor in Business Management.
While she has lived in California, Washington State, Michigan, Missouri, she currently resides in Eddington, Maine. She lives with her husband of 24 years, their 3 daughters, their dog (Bear), cat (Peaches), and 14 chickens. In her free time she enjoys camping, biking, hiking, reading, sewing, and most importantly…spending time with her children.
